Dave Thompson Project Manager

David Thompson is a multi-purpose employee for Greystone Construction. His duties include contract negotiation between buyers, vendors and subcontractor; land acquisition; subdivision development; project estimation; and account receivables and payables. Dave has spent his entire life right here in North Augusta, working since age fourteen at Hobby House, a few of the local restaurants, and Smith Cline. He then spent the majority of his career at Savannah River Site. He has been in the residential construction business working for himself and his son since 1986. Since then, he has built over 1200 homes in the area, and has developed 5 subdivisions. He has held licenses in all aspects of construction and waste management. He has carried all residential and commercial inspection certifications, including certification as a Certified Building Official. Since 1986, Dave has also spent precious time learning the hands-on aspect of construction by working with individual contractors in the field. This time has proven invaluable to all that work with and for him. It is his goal that every project he is a part of is presented, worked and completed in a professional manner, with the highest possible quality. He also strives to educate, motivate, and manage the employees and contractors so they can continue to grow professionally.
